Ever since Sony revealed it was engaged on a solo film for Madame Web, people have had questions. Why her? How is that this going to connect with whichever Spider-Man is swinging round now?
When you’ve watched the trailer, one of many questions could also be when this film is ready. Superhero films usually maintain issues within the relative current, however Entertainment Weekly’s latest preview notes that Madame Internet is ready in 2003. That successfully makes it the primary interval piece Spider-Man film we’ve ever gotten, and the primary mainstream superhero flick since 2020’s Surprise Girl 1984 to be set within the relative previous.
